Nakhon ratchasima: Suriya Jungrungruangkit has revealed that Suwat Liptapallop is taking charge in leading party members to join the Pheu Thai Party, enhancing its influence in three key constituencies in Nakhon Ratchasima. This strategic move is aimed at solidifying the party's position as they prepare for the upcoming elections.
According to Thai News Agency, Suriya, who also serves as the party's election director and a prime ministerial candidate, expressed confidence in the party's readiness. He confirmed that the Pheu Thai Party is set to field candidates across all 400 constituencies. In terms of candidate rankings on the party list, he mentioned that recent decisions were based on individuals' contributions to both the party and parliament.
Suriya addressed questions about the ranking of the three prime ministerial candidates on the party list, indicating that the party is exploring effective communication strategies with the public. On the subject of Yotsanun Wongsawat's potential candidacy as a list MP or solely as a prime ministerial candidate, Suriya stated that strategic discussions are ongoing.
Further inquiries about discussions with Suwat Liptapallop, following his announcement that the Chart Thai Development Party would not field candidates, revealed that an agreement was reached for all three constituencies in Nakhon Ratchasima Province to join the Pheu Thai Party. However, Suriya noted that the Chart Pattana Party's representative from Prachinburi Province would not be participating due to internal issues related to women's expulsion from the People's Party.
