Surin: People flock to donate blood, Surin Hospital needs to add more beds to support them, while the 2nd Army confirms that the Thai side still controls the situation and maintains an advantage over the enemy in every battle.
According to Thai News Agency, at Surin Hospital, people have been donating blood in large numbers. By noon, there were 355 donors. Yesterday (July 24), donations were accepted at 4:00 p.m., including donations from the blood bank and services outside the area. There were a total of 868 donors, while normally there are less than 90 people donating per day. People were able to come and donate until midnight. The response was better than expected, causing the hospital to add more donation beds to accommodate the people.
On the other hand, Lt. Col. Kampanat Wapansu, Deputy Chief of Staff of the 2nd Army Area Operations Center, announced that the Thai side is still controlling the situation and maintaining the advantage in fighting at every point of conflict over the enemy along the Thai-Cambodian border in the lower northeastern region.
