Bangkok:Expedite the refund process for those affected by the cancelled concert in Japan. "Supamas" continues to follow up on the cancellation of her Japanese concert tour, which resulted in significant losses for ticket buyers. She has instructed the Consumer Protection Board to expedite the refund process and is coordinating with the Cyber ??Police to assist the victims.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, in her capacity as supervisor of the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB), revealed that she has assigned Mr. Pradermchai Boonchuaylue, advisor to the Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, to follow up on assistance for concert ticket buyers in Japan whose performance was cancelled. She instructed the OCPB to expedite the refund process and coordinate with the police if any fraudulent activity is discovered.
This action follows the order issued on October 27th for the Consumer Protection Board to investigate the ticket sales, payment recipients, and refund process, after "Hay Apaporn Nakhon Sawan," along with representatives from her record label and a group of victims, filed a complaint on October 26th, 2026. Currently, they are compiling information on which ticket buyers have received refunds, which have not, and what obstacles are causing the process, in order to expedite coordination with those responsible for resolving the issues.
Ms. Suphamas stated that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is concerned about citizens who have suffered losses from purchasing goods and services that violate regulations and has emphasized the need for government agencies to work together to resolve the problems quickly. Therefore, she instructed the Consumer Protection Board (CPB) to follow up on the refund process in coordination with the police to ensure that victims receive assistance in both protecting their rights and pursuing legal action.
Mr. Pradermchai stated that the Consumer Protection Board (CPB) has coordinated with the police regarding the facts and evidence from the victims. If any circumstances that may constitute fraud are found, the CPB will assist the victims in filing complaints with the Cyber ??Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) so that investigators can take the necessary actions.
For ticket buyers, the Consumer Protection Board (CPB) will consider mediation and legal action on their behalf if the conditions under the law are met. For ticket buyers who have not yet received a refund, please retain proof of purchase, money transfer confirmations, chat logs, and relevant documents for investigation. Information or complaints can be reported via the CPB hotline 1166, the OCPB Connect application, the website www.ocpb.go.th, or the CPB offices in all provinces nationwide.
