Surawong: Surawong Thienthong, Minister of Tourism and Sports, has confirmed efforts to accelerate the resolution of an application crash after a significant number of people rushed to register for the "Travel Thailand Half Each" project. He also mentioned the potential for additional rights to be added. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Surawong discussed the situation on the first day of registration, which commenced at 8:00 a.m. on July 1st. The app experienced a crash due to the overwhelming number of registrations. He assured that the technical issues will be addressed promptly, acknowledging the high volume of registrations when the system opened. Mr. Surawong reiterated that the registration system was well-prepared, though technical issues can arise. He committed to resolving the problems as quickly as possible to facilitate the registration process. He noted that the substantial interest in registration indicates a strong desire among people to travel. Further consideration will be given if regis trations reach full capacity, with the Prime Minister already stating that the number of rights could be expanded.
