A medical team at the Sob Moei Sub-district Health Promotion Hospital received a case of a 7-month-old boy exhibiting symptoms of lethargy, diarrhea, and abnormal vital signs. The team assessed that an urgent transfer was necessary due to the child's critical condition. Given the remote location and the long travel time required, they coordinated with the Sob Moei Hospital emergency room to serve as the main referral center.
Meanwhile, the village headman of Sob Moei, the 36th Ranger Regiment, the Mae Sam Laep Sub-district Health Promotion Hospital, and the Mae Sam Laep Sub-district Administrative Organization team worked together to transport the patient using a relay system across the river. Boats were used to safely and promptly transfer the child from one pier to another, ensuring a swift journey to receive medical care.
