Singapore’s leader says handover of power will take place before general election

Singapore, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore announced today that He will hand over control of the country to a new generation of leaders before the 2025 general election.

He also said that If everything goes smoothly, He will hand over power no later than next year's 70th anniversary of the founding of the PAP, November 2024.
