People have been reserving seats to watch the Royal Barge Procession under Rama VIII Bridge on the Thonburi side until the area is full. Volunteer officers announced over the loudspeaker to inform the newly arriving people that the seats in the front and middle zones were all full. They could wait to watch in the back rows and in the seats that were still available on the left and right sides. The Bang Phlat District Office brought in more chairs around the waterfront walkway to accommodate them. The atmosphere under the Rama VIII Bridge on the Thonburi side since morning, people wearing yellow shirts have continuously come to reserve areas to wait and watch the Royal Barge Procession. The first group traveled from Nong Bua Lamphu Province and reserved chairs at the front since 5:00 AM, saying that they intended to come and see the royal ceremony with their own eyes once in their lives and hoped to admire the majesty and would not leave their chairs to go anywhere. They had prepared sticky rice, grilled por k, and food supplies. The Director of Bang Phlat District said that this point is a highlight that people are interested in because it is the starting point of the barge procession where they can see the royal barges up close. Bangkok has facilitated by installing 14 LED screens with sound amplifiers, totaling 18 screens, in the areas under the care of 6 districts: Dusit, Phra Nakhon, Bang Phlat, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok Yai, and Thon Buri. In addition, wheelchair users are facilitated by installing a ramp to accommodate approximately 40 seats at the Santi Chai Prakan Park viewing point, which can accommodate 1,500 seats.
