Seattle: The Seattle Seahawks, the most recent Super Bowl champions, have been approved for sale for a new NFL record fee of $9.612 billion. This historic transaction has set a new benchmark in the sports industry, surpassing the previous record held by the Washington Commanders' sale in 2023 for $6.05 billion.

According to Thai News Agency, the Seahawks were put up for sale by the estate of the late American businessman Paul Allen in February. The NFL owners have now given their approval for the sale to a consortium led by Indian-American billionaire Vinod Kosla. This deal marks a significant moment in the NFL's history, reflecting the franchise's value and the growing interest in the league.
