Police believe that three scavengers who were found dead in Pathum Thani in the past few days were killed by the same perpetrator because of similar pattern of the crime.
Pol Maj-Gen Amnart Chancharoen, chief of the investigation of the First Region Provincial Police Bureau, said Friday that police had some clues about the suspected killer after having questioned several witnesses and having examined footages from CCTV system at and around the crime scenes in Pathum Thani.
He said that the suspect was spotted by surveillance cameras riding a bicycle around the crime scene. He added that the suspect is about 160 cm tall and appears to be drunk all the time and often joined the victims in drinking sessions in the area.
Pol Maj-Gen Amnart he would release the suspect's photo to the media so that member of the public could help offer information to the police which would lead to the capture of the suspect whom he described as a dangerous man.
One witness reportedly told police that the suspect was seen in the area about two weeks ago, often riding in a bicycle.
