LISBON: Sporting Lisbon coach Ruben Amorim has not yet responded to questions about his potential move to manage Manchester United following reports of an agreement between the two clubs. Amorim, at 39, remains undecided about his future despite Manchester United's interest in appointing him as their official manager. According to Thai News Agency, Sporting Lisbon confirmed that Manchester United approached Amorim and expressed willingness to pay 10 million euros, approximately 364.2 million baht, to terminate his contract. Sporting Club has also informed CMVM, the Portuguese Stock Exchange Control, about receiving this amount from Manchester United. Amorim stated that he will continue with Sporting for now and will provide updates when more definitive information becomes available. He mentioned no decision has been made yet and anticipates remaining in Lisbon on Sunday, when United faces Chelsea in the Premier League. When asked by media about a potential move to United, Amorim responded with a laugh, sayi ng: "I don't know."
