Bangkok: A group of reserve senators has filed a lawsuit against the Supreme Court over the Election Commission's ruling in the senator collusion case. The lawsuit aims to contest the decision made by the Election Commission (EC) regarding the Senate election process.
According to Thai News Agency, the focus of the lawsuit is on the reasonableness and fairness of the trial, particularly concerning the third charge. This charge involves the alleged creation or use of "vote-taking slips" to influence voting, affecting 26 senators. The group argues that if the use of vote-taking slips was considered factual, the Election Commission should have acted against all 138 individuals implicated, not just the 26. This has led to a call for the Supreme Court to review the decision-making process and clarify the standards for law enforcement.
