Mr. Chai Watcharong, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the government has prepared Coordinate integrated work Supports Indian and Taiwanese tourists according to the Visa Free policy that allows tourists of both nationalities to stay in the Kingdom of Thailand for no more than 30 days from 10 November 2023 to 10 May 2024, a total period of 6 months.
A spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office said the Visa Free policy will facilitate and create incentives for Indian and Taiwanese tourists to travel to Thailand. which coincides with the tourist season for Indians and Taiwanese. along with stimulating the tourism industry and driving the Thai economic system during 2023 - 2024 at the same time
The government through the Ministry of Transport has established a Single Command Center to be a joint coordination center for all agencies involved in providing tourist services at airports at every step in an efficient, convenient, fast, safe and legal manner. The service information will be recorded using CCTV images. To follow up on services and analyze data in order to develop services better. and assign relevant agencies to integrate together to facilitate tourists of both nationalities during the operation of the visa-free policy.
Initially, the Ministry of Transport has assigned relevant agencies to support the travel of passengers of both nationalities. By preparing at various airports, there is also preparation for traveling within Bangkok. Traveling to other provinces by train and bus and traveling within the provinces and preparation for safety in water tourism as well
