Princess Sirindhorn presides over charity walk-run event

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over a charity walk-run event on Sunday morning organized by the Faculty of Medicines of Mahidol University to pay tribute to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Proceeds from the event will go to a fund for the construction of the Navamintharabopit building at Siriraj hospital.

The running event was divided into two categories: 12-km distance from Siriraj hospital onto Arun-amarin bridge to Rama VIII bridge, turning left to Rajdamnoen Nok, rounding the Royal Plaza on the way back to Siriraj hospital via Arun-amarin bridge; and 6-km distance from the Royal Thai Navy auditorium toward Arun-amarin and Rama VIII bridges and returning through the same route to the destination at Siriraj hospital.
