Bangkok: Prime Minister Anutin extends his best wishes to retired government officials, heads of ministry-level departments, and the National Legislative Assembly, thanking them for their diligence and contributions to the nation. Reporters reported that this afternoon, the heads of ministry-level or equivalent government agencies who will reach retirement age in 2025 paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul. The heads of ministry-level or equivalent government agencies who will reach retirement age, the Secretary-General of the Civil Service Commission, and relevant officials also attended the meeting.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister stated that it was a great honor to meet with all government officials today and to have the opportunity to formally welcome them. He stated that it was a pity that they had reached the end of their official term. However, he stated that they all retain the strength and determination to continue performing their duties for the benefit of the nation and its people, and he was pleased to offer his support, citing their experience, knowledge, and abilities.
"I pray to the Triple Gem and the power of all sacred things we revere, as well as the royal grace of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen, to bestow blessings upon the heads of government agencies who are retiring this year, to experience happiness and good health, and to achieve all their aspirations," the Prime Minister said in his blessing.
The Prime Minister then presented souvenirs to the heads of ministry-level government departments or equivalent who had reached retirement age and took a group photo together. The nine heads of ministry-level or equivalent government agencies who will retire in 2025 include significant positions such as the Secretary-General of the Office of National Water Resources and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, among others.
Mr. Chayan Muangsong and Ms. Chinda Kasemsuk, both Deputy Secretaries-General to the Prime Minister for Administration, alongside executives of the Office of the Prime Minister, led a group of retirees from the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) in 2025 to meet the Prime Minister. The purpose was to offer encouragement and recognition for their diligence, honesty, and integrity, which have consistently benefited the government and the nation.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister expressed his delight in welcoming the retirees of the Office of the Prime Minister for the year 2025. Although this visit marks the end of their official retirements, he remains confident in their determination to serve the nation. He urged them to pass on the knowledge and experience they have gained from their service to their descendants, with pride in their work for the country with honesty and integrity. On behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister and the government, I would like to express my congratulations and gratitude to all those who have diligently performed their duties and served the country until their retirement. I wish all retirees of the Office of the Prime Minister for the year 2025 and their families good health, happiness, and the fulfillment of all their wishes. I wish them continued good fortune.
The Prime Minister concluded the ceremony by presenting souvenirs and taking photographs with the retirees of the Office of the Prime Minister.
