Bangkok: The Prime Minister is set to host an informal coffee and chat session with reporters at Government House tomorrow. This event marks the first such informal meeting for Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, who will be opening the Nareesamosorn Building for the occasion.
According to Thai News Agency, the meeting is scheduled for April 29th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This gathering aims to provide a relaxed setting for the Prime Minister to engage in a round-table discussion with the press, following his recent reduction in daily media interviews.
In a shift from previous practices, the Prime Minister has adopted a more formal stance during interviews, standing to ensure clarity in communication. This change comes after concerns that speaking while walking could lead to unclear exchanges and misunderstandings. As a result, reporters have ceased following the Prime Minister for impromptu interviews, opting instead for structured sessions like the upcoming coffee chat.
