Bangkok: Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul observed a demonstration of making ribbons to express condolences and pay tribute to the benevolent reign of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, as well as a demonstration of crafting flowers in the royal monogram of "Queen Sirikit."
According to Thai News Agency, prior to the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul received an overview of the "One Good Deed, One Million Loves, Proud Loyalty to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit" project from Minister of Culture Sabida Thaiseth. Also present at the event were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Suchart Chomklin, Ministers attached to the Prime Minister's Office Paradorn Prisnanantakul and Santi Piyathat, along with heads of government agencies at the ministerial level or equivalent, chief inspectors, executives, actors, and related officials.
The Prime Minister, along with the Cabinet, wrote pledges of good deeds to be displayed on a "Tree of Good Deeds" to demonstrate their intention to contribute to society. They then observed demonstrations of making mourning ribbons and crafting flowers in the royal monogram of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, in remembrance of Her Majesty's profound benevolence. Following this, the Prime Minister, the Cabinet, executives from the Ministry of Culture, and representatives from collaborating agencies took a group photograph.
The "One Good Deed, One Million Loves, Proud Loyalty to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother" project was organized to express loyalty and gratitude for Her Majesty's immeasurable kindness. Its main goals are to commemorate Her Majesty's boundless compassion and royal duties to the people, to encourage all citizens to perform good deeds as merit for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, and to promote the application of virtuous principles in daily life, emphasizing morality, ethics, and the value of national culture and traditions, thereby preserving and passing on this invaluable heritage to Thailand for generations to come.
The project has been continuously implemented throughout the country since November 2025, inviting government agencies, the private sector, partner networks, artists, youth, and all citizens to participate in good deeds in accordance with His Majesty's royal initiatives and aspirations in various ways. These include: continuing His Majesty's aspirations in natural resource conservation; promoting learning and the transmission of Thai wisdom, handicrafts, and performing arts; improving the quality of life of the people; and creating community well-being. The goal is to build sustainable social power and spread loyalty, leading to the creation of a beautiful Thai society for generations to come.
