Deputy Prime Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan is now back to work and dismissed speculation that he was recuperating from sickness at hospital.
But he didn't go to work at his office in the Ministry of Defence as usual.
Instead he went to work at the Pa Roi Tor Foundation office inside the compound of the First Infantry Regiment of the Royal Guards.
He declined to elaborate his recuperation from sickness at Phramongkhutklao hospital at the time of the bombing, saying it was just speculation of the news media and he would let them to guess.
He also denounced the bomb attack at the hospital and said it was still not yet established it was the work of southern insurgents.
But he said it was likely the work of people who are close to them.
