Bangkok: Mr. Prasert Chantararuangthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, has called for the media to downplay recent comments made by Samdech Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate, during a livestream. Prasert expressed his concerns that the broadcast, which referenced Thailand, could lead to unnecessary divisions.
According to Thai News Agency, Prasert stated that he did not follow Hun Sen's livestream and advised against giving it much attention. He emphasized the importance of focusing on unity and understanding among the Thai people, suggesting that external comments should not be allowed to create discord. Prasert expressed confidence in the patriotism of Thai citizens and urged them not to be swayed by divisive rhetoric.
