Prasert Ensures Normalcy at Thepsirin Nonthaburi School with Enhanced Security and Psychological Support

Nonthaburi: Prasert Chantrawongsong, the Minister of Education, has confirmed that the situation at Thepsirin Nonthaburi School is normal, following recent events. He has mandated stricter security protocols and close psychological support for students to ensure their well-being.

According to Thai News Agency, the Minister revealed that the Secretary-General of the Basic Education Commission will be present to observe the first day of school at Thepsirin Nonthaburi School. The Ministry of Education has already put into place necessary measures to ensure school safety.

Mr. Prasert Chantrawongsong commented on the school's reopening, saying that students are in good spirits. He directed the Secretary-General of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) to monitor the situation and engage with the school principal. Emphasizing the importance of mental well-being, especially after a recent tragedy, psychologists will be made available to support students and teachers. The Ministry had earlier issued safety measures for schools to adhere to, and Mr. Prasert believes the atmosphere is now calming, with the situation gradually returning to normal.
