Bangkok: Police expect suspicions of Way Thaitanium's involvement in wrongdoing will become clearer after a meeting of the team investigating the Nana Raibeena case. Following the arrest of 45-year-old actress Nana Raibeena by officers from Division 4 of the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD), on charges of deceiving close friends and entertainment figures into investing in various phantom businesses, resulting in victims losing a total of over 195 million baht, a new victim has come forward with additional information, claiming that Way Thaitanium, Nana Raibeena's husband, tricked her into investing in stocks, resulting in an additional loss of over 50 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Col. Nittichot Penjamras, Deputy Commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), recently revealed that officers are expediting the investigation into financial transactions and various transaction data to be used in the legal proceedings. On Monday, December 8, 2025, a meeting of all officers involved in the investigation will be held to follow up on the progress of the prosecution on all issues.
Following the meeting, it is expected that there will be greater clarity on whether Way Thaitanium is involved in the crimes along with Nana Raibeena. The police confirmed that their actions will be based primarily on evidence and facts, and will be fair to all parties.
