Mr. Wan Muhammad Noor Matha, President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives, announced the summary of the results of the House of Representatives meetings and joint parliamentary meetings between 3 July and 30 October 2024 in the first annual ordinary session, which had 36 House of Representatives meetings and 2 joint parliamentary meetings. The Speaker of the House of Representatives thanked the members for their cooperation in allowing the meeting to proceed smoothly without causing the quorum failure, which is normal for the House to debate various issues, but we were able to make the meeting pass through with a vote. Mr. Wan Muhammad Noor said tha t the House of Representatives meeting has included 46 draft bills in the agenda for consideration in the first reading. Currently, 40 bills are under consideration for the Prime Minister's endorsement because they are related to finance. Five are in the process of receiving opinions and analyzing the possible impacts according to Article 77 of the Constitution. Fourteen are under consideration by the committee. Three have been completed by the committee, five are under consideration by the Senate, one is under consideration by the joint committee, and five have received approval from the parliament. As for the draft laws proposed by voters, 5 were included in the parliamentary agenda, 6 were under consideration for the Prime Minister's endorsement, and 23 were in the process of inviting signatures. For the consideration of the motions, the House resolved to forward 15 motions to the government, totaling 5 matters. There were motions that the House resolved or assigned to the committee to consider, acknowle dge the report and agree with the observations, 8 matters. 20 motions acknowledged the report but disagreed with the observations, 1 matter. 1 motion was awaiting inclusion on the agenda, 2 matters were awaiting consideration by the committee, 18 matters were awaiting consideration by the committee, 65 motions were awaiting consideration by the House, 66 motions were awaiting consideration by the House, 7 matters were reported that the House of Representatives had already considered, 4 matters were awaiting inclusion on the agenda. As for the consideration of 18 live oral questions, 180 general questions that were answered in the meeting, 447 general questions answered in the Royal Gazette, 172 separate questions, members consulted on 2,642 issues of public concern, and 26 reports from government agencies, state enterprises, and independent organizations were acknowledged.
