Phatthalung: Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, the Southern Regional Commander of the Bhumjaithai Party, remains unfazed by recent opinion poll results, expressing confidence in reaching the party's target number of MPs. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pipat reiterated the party's slogan, "Saying and Doing Plus," and encouraged people in the South to join in reclaiming opportunities lost over the past 30 years. In an interview concerning the campaign in Phatthalung Province, Mr. Pipat voiced his support for the party's parliamentary candidates, both constituency and party-list. These include Air Force Colonel Dr. Athikun Kongmee, Mr. Worat Teodveerapong, and Mr. Khemphol Uityakul, as well as party-list candidates Mr. Chalath Ratchakitprakarn and Mr. Romtham Khamnurak. Mr. Pipat emphasized that these candidates would be a driving force in fostering development in Phatthalung Province. Since 2019, the Bhumjaithai Party has facilitated infrastructure development in the region, Mr. Pipat noted. Projects such as the M anorah Bridge, the bridge to Koh Lanta, and the Irrawaddy freshwater fish nursery exemplify the party's commitment to bringing prosperity to Phatthalung Province. Mr. Pipat highlighted the people's expectations for real change after years of inequality and uneven development in the South. He stated that many residents desire politicians who understand the economic challenges and future prospects of the southern region, viewing this as a positive sign for the Bhumjaithai Party. Addressing the political climate and opinion polls favoring certain political figures in Songkhla province, Mr. Pipat asserted that polls are temporary reflections and not definitive indicators of electoral outcomes. He stressed the importance of policies that genuinely improve the future for the people of the South. The Bhumjaithai Party's strategy focuses on communicating policies aimed at reclaiming opportunities lost over decades, according to Mr. Pipat. He urged the people to evaluate whether past political opportunities have su fficiently benefited the South and presented Bhumjaithai as a viable alternative. Mr. Pipat conveyed the party's goal of securing approximately 30-31 parliamentary seats in the South, expressing optimism that the party's policies resonate with the public's real-life needs. He refrained from making definitive predictions, emphasizing that the ultimate decision lies with the electorate.
