Bangkok: Pheu Thai Party has introduced its third round of MP candidates for 31 additional districts, including a notable contender, a former secretary of the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), who will vie for the same seat as Thammanat. Phumipat, son of Keng Karun, has also announced his candidacy in Bangkok, with Chulphan expressing confidence in leading the government.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Suriya Jungrungreangkit, the Election Director of the Pheu Thai Party, along with other party leaders, presented the candidates for the House of Representatives for the third time. The candidates represent 18 provinces and 31 electoral districts. Mr. Suriya expressed his confidence in the potential and qualities of the candidates, emphasizing that with hard work, many of them will be selected by the public as Pheu Thai MPs.
Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party, shared his honor in being present for the party's third candidate launch ahead of the upcoming elections early next year. He highlighted the party's readiness and potential, noting that a large number of locally known and experienced individuals are seeking MP candidacy. He emphasized that the candidates are aligned with Pheu Thai's ideals and have a strong potential for being elected.
Mr. Chulaphan further stated that the party is prepared to bring good policies and progress to the people. He encouraged the candidates to engage with their constituencies over the next few months, present their policies, and anticipate a positive response from the public. He expressed the party's expectation of being a core member of the next government and its commitment to delivering policies that address public issues.
Today, 31 individuals applied to be Pheu Thai Party MP candidates, including Ms. Pananrat Wiriyakulsan from Chiang Mai Province, Mr. Wichai Chaimongkol from Phayao Province, and Mr. Phumipat Hosakul from Bangkok, among others. The list includes individuals from various provinces, showcasing the party's extensive reach and preparation for the upcoming elections.
