Bangkok: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has emerged as the top-ranked entity in the 2024 State Enterprise Performance Assessment, securing the first position among 52 Thai state enterprises. The announcement was made during the State Enterprise Performance Assessment Committee (PAC) meeting held on June 19, 2025, where PEA achieved a score of 4.5483. According to Thai News Agency, the Performance Agreement of State Enterprises serves as a memorandum of understanding that outlines indicators and performance targets for state enterprises every year. Its primary aim is to enhance the efficiency of operations, governance, and management of state enterprises. This is to ensure that the public receives quality, transparent services that cater to their needs, while also promoting economic and social stability and encouraging sustainable technology advancements in Thailand. The impressive evaluation results highlight PEA's progress in providing efficient services to electricity users through a safe and stable electricity system.
