Philadelphia: Paul George, the star forward of the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA, has been suspended for 25 games and will not receive any pay during the suspension for violating anti-doping rules.
According to Thai News Agency, this season, George has played 27 games for the 76ers, averaging 16 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. Due to this suspension, he will not be able to return to play until the end of March, at which point there will only be 10 regular season games remaining.
George is renowned for being selected to the NBA All-Star team nine times and for being a member of the US national team that won a gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games.
