Bangkok: Paethongtarn Shinawatra, leader of the Pheu Thai Party and former Prime Minister, expressed her intention to visit Thaksin Shinawatra at Klong Prem Prison following the end of his five-day COVID-19 quarantine. She stated that she would visit Thaksin whenever possible after the quarantine concludes this Monday.
According to Thai News Agency, Paethongtarn addressed the media at 2:00 PM as she departed from the Pheu Thai Party headquarters. When questioned about Thaksin's health, particularly reports of his high blood pressure, Paethongtarn mentioned she was unaware of any such issues. Despite further inquiries regarding her concerns for Thaksin's well-being, Paethongtarn chose not to comment and left immediately.
