Ordered to interrogate 17 more witnesses in the case of the Consumer Protection Board’s angels.

The committee investigating the Angels of the Consumer Protection Board has ordered the questioning of 17 additional witnesses, including both insiders and outsiders. Mr. Krit Eua-wong, spokesman for the fact-finding committee on the case of the Office of the Consumer Protection Board's performance of duties regarding online businesses, with Mr. Chatpong Jiraphan, senior prosecutor, as the chairman of the committee, revealed that today's meeting of the committee, which is the second meeting after setting up two subcommittees: the subcommittee for preliminary fact-finding and the subcommittee for legal matters, both subcommittees reported on the results of their operations, in which the subcommittee for preliminary fact-finding examined the registration process and the receipt of complaints, both in general cases and in the case of The Icon Group. While the subcommittee on legal issues considered evidence of The Icon Group, direct sales registration, and the committee meeting agreed that in order for the fac t-finding to obtain comprehensive information, especially on the issues in the process of registration and complaint handling, which may lead to proposals to amend related laws and regulations, in order to prevent problems in online businesses and direct sales in the future, it was deemed appropriate to study the details of the OCPB's work processes further, including questioning witnesses. Initially, the number was set at 17 people, divided into 11 internal or former OCPB executives and 6 external persons. Each subcommittee will determine the issues and methods for each witness to provide facts and conduct the questioning. If the questioning involves anyone, the questioning will be expanded.
