Num Surawut and Tak Napasranchan Star Together in Their First BL Series

Bangkok: Two talented actors, Num Surawut and Tak Napasranchan, have embarked on a new venture, starring together in their first BL (Boys' Love) series, "Tonight I Can't Sleep." Their collaboration has garnered widespread attention, earning them the title of a "senior BL couple" among BL enthusiasts. The actors recently attended a blessing ceremony for three series, including "Tonight I Can't Sleep," "The Fading Melody," and "Grandpa's BL, Grandson's BL," where they shared insights into their journey.

According to Thai News Agency, Noom Surawut expressed his intrigue in the series' storyline, which he described as focusing on normal people with societal divisions. Embracing this role required him to transform his appearance, including changing his hair color, a change his wife appreciated. Despite his initial apprehension about being labeled a "senior BL couple" due to their backgrounds in action roles, Noom was reassured by the director's trust and the smooth workshops. The series explores a couple who have been in love for seven years, necessitating a strong bond of trust between the actors to convincingly portray their characters' deep love. Noom expressed hope that audiences of all ages would enjoy the show and find both entertainment and personal growth from it.

Tak Napasranchan shared that he initially accepted the role without reading the script or knowing his co-star. After discussing it with his wife, Pok Piyathida, she initially supported but later hesitated about the role. However, having already signed the contract, Tak proceeded with the project. He found the role challenging, particularly in transcending his personal identity to embody a character deeply in love for seven years. When asked about the possibility of future collaborations or fan meetings, Tak humorously mentioned consulting his wife first, indicating a willingness to consider future opportunities.
