The next mobile cabinet meeting will be held in Ayutthaya on Sept 19, government spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnerd said on Tuesday (Sept 5).
Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon, who presided over the cabinet meeting while Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is away attending Brics Summit in China, told the meeting that the prime minister will make an inspection trip to Suphan Buri to follow up the implementation of the government's policies on Sept 18.
On Sept 19, Gen Prayut will chair a cabinet meeting in Ayutthaya.
Gen Prawit said the National Economic and Social Development Board is in a process of preparing the agenda of the meeting, which will give emphasis on provinces in the Central Region.
The prime minister intends to hold a cabinet meeting in all six regions, a region in each month. Other cabinet minister will also visit Central provinces before and after the cabinet meeting to follow up the government's work, Lt Gen Sansern said.
The previous mobile cabinet meeting was held in Nakhon Ratchasima on Aug 22.
