Bang bua thong: A 26-year-old woman was outraged after her neighbor broke her mirror and windshield wipers and left a threatening note after she parked illegally. She insisted she didn't obstruct anyone's access and revealed the neighbor had done this two or three times before.
According to Thai News Agency, CCTV footage at 2:46 AM on June 14, 1969, shows the victim's black sedan parked next to the playground. A silver sedan, later identified as belonging to the neighbor involved in the dispute, then drives into the alley. A tall, well-built man wearing a red shirt and cream-colored shorts walks up to the victim's car, rings the doorbell, and peers through the fence across the playground. He then takes out his mobile phone and takes pictures of the victim's sedan, pointing the phone at the CCTV camera before walking over and damaging the right-hand side mirror and windshield wiper.
Reporters traveled to a village in Bang Bua Thong Subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province, and met Ms. Phanwisa, 26 years old, the victim and owner of the black sedan. Ms. Phanwisa recounted that on the night of June 14th, she drove home around midnight and found no parking space, so she parked next to the playground, leaving enough space and parking close enough for neighbors' cars to enter and exit. The next morning, a concerned citizen put up a sign saying "Car vandalized." She rushed to see and requested CCTV footage from the house across the street. The footage showed a neighbor in the alley breaking the side mirror, snapping off the windshield wipers, and leaving a threatening note saying, "Next time I'll do something much worse, and I will definitely do it if you keep parking like that, you bastard." Ms. Phanwisa stated that she did not know the neighbor who committed the act and had never had any problems with them before.
She confirmed that she did not park in a way that obstructed entry and exit. After the incident, she filed a police report at Bang Bua Thong Police Station because she felt intimidated by the threats. She stated that the neighbor could have simply told her about the matter politely, instead of resorting to such violence. She understands that the neighbor in question has exhibited similar behavior 2-3 times before, and a neighbor across from the playground has also experienced similar incidents.
