Bangkok: The atmosphere was tense before Ms. Raibeena Intachai, popularly known as Nana Raibeena, was sent for detention. The famous actress, wanted by the Criminal Court for charges of fraud and violations under the Emergency Decree on Fraudulent Loans to the Public, had a breakfast of fried rice with basil and shrimp and a fried egg. The police had questioned her intensively until midnight, with her younger sister visiting during the process.
According to Thai News Agency, investigators from Division 4 of the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) were prepared to escort Nana Raibeena to the Criminal Court on Ratchadaphisek Road for her initial detention hearing. The charges against her involve fraud related to various investment schemes, with seventeen victims, mostly close friends from the entertainment industry and parents of international schools, reporting over 195 million baht in damages. Since the previous evening, she has been held at the Central Investigation Bureau's Crime Suppression Division's detention center.
At around 7:45 a.m., breakfast was ordered from the Central Investigation Bureau's cafeteria for those in detention. The menu included garlic chicken rice and shrimp and basil rice with a fried egg. The vendor noted that Nana Raibeena had opted for shrimp and basil rice with a fried egg for her meal the night before.
A police officer on duty stated that after her arrival at the complaint center building yesterday evening, Nana Raibeena underwent questioning by investigators on the second floor until approximately 12:05 AM, spanning over 10 hours. She was then taken back to the detention room. Throughout the night, there were no visitors who came to see her.
