The agency emphasizes the need for ongoing vigilance against the threats of heavy rain and potential landslides in the region. According to Thai News Agency, the National Water Resources Management Committee (NWRC) is actively overseeing the Nan River situation. Water levels are expected to peak as they flow through the city, with some areas already experiencing levels exceeding the riverbanks. Although there is an expectation for the rainfall to decrease, officials stress the importance of remaining alert to the risks of flash floods, landslides, and mudslides, particularly in hilly terrains. Preparatory measures are being put in place to deal with any potential recurrences of these conditions.
