Naf Chatthanan Teams Up with Thailand Post to Boost Thai Entrepreneurs’ Digital Commerce Opportunities

Bangkok: Naf Chatthanan collaborates with Thailand Post to open up new options for Thai entrepreneurs to grow on a comprehensive online commerce platform. THAI THAI, a platform for Thai people, created for Thai entrepreneurs, creators, and consumers, has officially launched. The launch event, THAI THAI x ECO Commerce, featured the concept of "Upgrading Thai Commerce to a Digital Commerce Infrastructure." The platform aims to ensure fair treatment for merchants and confidence for consumers, guaranteeing quality products and standardized delivery through Thailand Post.

According to Thai News Agency, Korpongsak Tantisiwong, Chief Commercial Officer, explained the origins of the THAI THAI platform, confirming that it was created for Thai entrepreneurs and is ready to directly meet the needs of Thai consumers. "Today's event marks THAI THAI's partnership with ECO Commerce to officially launch the platform. Currently, individual apps are not interconnected; everyone runs their own business. But from our perspective, we want to create something that primarily benefits Thai people. We're collaborating to create an ecosystem for selling goods, specifically for Thais. As I mentioned, this launch is for the benefit of Thai entrepreneurs because we've been exploited by foreign platforms in the past. This event is what led to this initiative. Rest assured, we are doing this for the benefit of Thai people."

He continued, "And after we launched, there was a positive response. Many businesses showed interest and contacted us to collaborate. The reason we chose Thailand Post is because we wanted to ensure that Thai-owned transportation and logistics companies could thrive first."

"As for our expectations, whether we go far or not depends on the response from the Thai people, whether they support us or not. We did this for the Thai people, and in the future, we are in discussions and planning to connect with the Paotang app."

Chatchanut Thaosiriphan, Chief Marketing Officer, spoke about another collaboration with Thailand Post, saying, "Following the launch of the THAI THAI platform, we received a lot of interest from Thai entrepreneurs, especially those looking for a cost-effective online sales channel. The platform's key features include not charging GP fees and collaborating with Thailand Post on the transportation system, allowing entrepreneurs to manage costs efficiently while building consumer confidence in delivery quality and data security."

Rapee Kamonchalapisek, Chief Technology Officer, explained, "THAI THAI's strength lies in developing systems based on the actual usage behavior of Thai consumers. The team has experience in developing e-commerce technology and we leverage that knowledge to create a platform that meets the needs of users in Thailand in terms of user experience, convenience, and system performance."
