Bangkok: Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited has announced its participation in a campaign focused on travel safety and insurance promotion during the upcoming Songkran Festival 2025. The initiative, organized by the Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), aims to promote a culture of insurance under the theme 'Songkran: Creating Happiness, Passing on Concern, Promoting Insurance Culture.'
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Nirat Buachasuk, Deputy Managing Director of Muang Thai Life Assurance, represented the company at the event held at Yodpiman Market, Pak Khlong Talat in Bangkok. The campaign, which collaborates with the insurance industry and other relevant agencies, emphasizes enhancing well-being to help mitigate risks and potential losses. Mr. Chuchat Pramulpol, Secretary-General of the Insurance Commission, visited Muang Thai Life Assurance's booth to show support for the initiative.
Muang Thai Life Assurance is also introducing new insurance policy formats and coverage options to better serve the public's needs. In partnership with Counter Service Co., Ltd., Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited, and Max Solution Service Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of PTG, the company has launched the 'Sukjai Songkran Insurance Policy (Microinsurance).' This policy aims to make insurance more accessible through various channels, with specific coverage details including:
1. Coverage for death, loss of hands, feet, eyesight, or permanent total disability due to accidents, excluding murder, assault, and/or accidents involving motorcycles. The insured amount is 100,000 baht.
2. Coverage for death, loss of hands, feet, eyesight, or permanent total disability due to murder, assault, and/or motorcycle accidents. The insured amount is 50,000 baht.
3. Coverage for death, loss of hands, feet, eyesight, or permanent total disability due to public accidents. The insured amount is 100,000 baht.
Additionally, the policy offers medical benefits for accidents, excluding costs for special nurses, support devices (except crutches), wheelchairs, prostheses, alternative medicine, and acupuncture, with a maximum payout of 5,000 baht. The 'Sukjai Songkran Insurance Policy (Microinsurance)' provides coverage for 30 days from the start of the policy and is available to Thai nationals aged 15 to 70 years.
