Mohamed Salah’s Injury Update Brings Relief to Liverpool Fans

Liverpool: Liverpool are hoping Salah can return to the field before the end of the season. Liverpool have confirmed good news: Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah still has a chance to return to the field before the end of the 2025/26 season after tests confirmed that Mo has only suffered a "minor" muscle injury. However, it has not yet been clearly stated how long he will be out.

According to Thai News Agency, Salah, who has confirmed he will leave Anfield at the end of the season, suffered a leg injury during Liverpool's 3-1 home win against Crystal Palace last Saturday and was substituted after less than an hour. Because of this, many, especially Liverpool fans, are worried that we might not see Salah in a "Red" shirt again, after he looked unwell as he walked off the field in the game against Crystal Palace.

However, Liverpool have now confirmed that Salah's injury is not as serious as initially feared, and the 33-year-old striker still has a chance to return to the field for the Reds this season, especially in their final Premier League game at home against Brentford on Sunday, May 24th. This would be a good opportunity for Salah to say goodbye to the fans and end his nine-year spell at Anfield on a high note.
