Baku:A Michael Jordan jersey from his final season with the Chicago Bulls, famously known as "The Last Dance," has been sold for $14 million, which is approximately 470.70 million baht. This transaction has set a new record for the most expensive basketball memorabilia ever sold.
According to Thai News Agency, the jersey was worn by Jordan during Game 2 of the 1998 NBA Finals, a game in which he scored 37 points leading the Bulls to a victory over the Utah Jazz. This win contributed to the Bulls' eventual 4-2 series victory, securing Jordan's sixth NBA championship and earning him the NBA Finals MVP award for all six championships.
The sale was conducted as a private transaction through Hunt Auctions. The buyer, Ron Furman, a real estate investor based in Miami, purchased the jersey, which also bears Jordan's signature.
