Bangkok: METALEX 2025, the world's largest machinery and technology expo, is showcasing technology and innovations in metalworking machinery from over 3,000 world-class brands to support entrepreneurs in all industries. The event features the launch of new technologies, demonstrations of robots, and practical programming workshops.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, highlighted that METALEX 2025, themed "The Future of Thai Industry Under the Light of Innovation," serves as a global platform, positioning Thailand as an industrial leader. Annually, the expo introduces new innovations in products and manufacturing processes, offering entrepreneurs opportunities to develop their own innovations. Mr. Rangsitpol emphasized the Ministry of Industry's policies that integrate technology and innovation with four key sustainability dimensions: profitability, community coexistence, compliance with international regulations, and income distribution. Previously, the government provided tax incentives for investment in new machinery and automation systems for the Industry 4.0 era. This year, the Ministry is extending its support to AI and sustainability concepts, focusing on carbon reduction. This initiative is designed to help entrepreneurs recognize technology's role in increasing efficiency and propose practices aligned with sustainability, strengthening Thailand's industrial ecosystem.
METALEX 2025 offers a range of exciting activities and highlights, featuring the latest innovations and machinery technologies from 3,000 brands across 50 countries and 18 international pavilions from eight countries and special territories. Notable exhibits include the JAMTAT Pavilion, showcasing Japanese machine tools, and the Sheet METALEX Zone, featuring the latest sheet metal processing technologies. The expo will also see the world's first launches of several new machinery models in Thailand.
