Melania Trump Refutes Allegations of Connection to Jeffrey Epstein

Washington: First Lady Melania Trump has denied any involvement whatsoever with Jeffrey Epstein, asserting that she was not a victim of the former financier, as has been suggested. This move has reignited the Epstein scandal, which President Donald Trump has consistently attempted to resolve.

According to Thai News Agency, the First Lady delivered a rare and significant statement in the White House reception hall under the presidential seal to counter rumors circulating on social media that the late sexual offender Epstein had introduced her to Mr. Trump. She clarified the sequence of events, stating that she first met her husband at a party in New York City in 1998, two years before meeting Epstein again at another event which she attended with Mr. Trump.

Melania Trump insisted that the false information linking her to Epstein must end from today onwards, stating that the information being disseminated is purely defamatory and completely devoid of any factual basis.

Furthermore, Melania called for Congress to hold a public hearing process to allow victims of the Epstein case to testify under oath. This could reignite intense scrutiny of the Epstein case, which is continuously shaking the Trump administration amidst criticism, even from supporters, who believe the government has failed to adequately manage and disclose classified government documents related to the case. Last week, Trump dismissed Attorney General Pam Bondi after she angered his supporters with her perceived delay in releasing millions of documents related to the Epstein case.

Mr. Trump had a friendship with Mr. Epstein before stating that they had lost contact in the early 2000s. His name appears in government documents alongside numerous other prominent figures, including politicians and celebrities.
