Mai Khao Subdistrict Halts Construction of Boom’s Pool Villa Over Permit Issues

Phuket:Seven notices have been issued suspending the construction of a pool villa associated with "Boom Panadda" in Thalang District, Phuket. The Mai Khao Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO) has taken these steps to ensure compliance with local construction regulations.

According to Thai News Agency, the Mai Khao Subdistrict Administrative Organization explained its decision to post seven notices, aimed at strictly regulating the construction of pool villas in Ban Dan Yid. The notices require property owners to secure necessary permits within 30 days. Non-compliance with this directive will lead to a demolition order being issued.

The situation arose after it was discovered that the permit for the first villa had expired and the second villa was built without authorization. In response, the Mai Khao SAO issued administrative orders to halt construction and prevent the use of the buildings. The deputy head of the SAO emphasized that there is a 30-day window for the building owner to submit the required permits. If the deadline is missed or the issues remain unresolved, a demolition order may be considered.
