Bangkok: "Madam Oi" appeared at the Crime Suppression Division to give additional testimony as part of the ongoing investigation into a high-profile fraud case involving a famous lawyer. The case, which centers around allegations of defrauding a wealthy French client, has gained significant attention due to the substantial amount involved-71 million baht. According to Thai News Agency, the working group assigned to this case convened to discuss the progress and direction of the investigation. The meeting aimed to clarify details related to questioning the victim, collecting evidence, and considering potential legal actions against the accused. The case was originally filed at Pak Chong Police Station in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, before being transferred to the Crime Suppression Division for further handling. Pol. Lt. Gen. Jiraphop Phuridet, Commander of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), mentioned via phone that he is currently engaged with other duties, delegating Pol. Maj. Gen. Suwat Saengnum to le ad the investigation. Pol. Maj. Gen. Suwat indicated that further clarity on the case's progress is expected following the meeting, particularly regarding the victim's questioning and evidence collection. In the latest development, "Madam Oi," accompanied by her personal secretary and lawyer, visited the Crime Suppression Division's Sub-Division 3 to provide additional testimony. Pol. Col. Thongchai Yookes and Pol. Col. Suriyasak Jiravas were present during the interrogation. This visit is a continuation of previous questioning conducted in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, which remains incomplete, necessitating further statements to expedite the legal process.
