Bangkok: The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TFO) has unveiled the six Bangkok locations featured in the much-anticipated "SaWaDiKa" music video by global superstar Lisa, also known as Lalisa Manoban. The video, which was filmed in July with the assistance of over 100 Thai personnel, was officially released to the public on September 4, 2026, captivating fans around the world with its vibrant depiction of Bangkok.
According to Thai News Agency, the Thailand Film Office (TFO) of the Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, provided details about the six distinct filming locations. These include the historic Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lamphong), the Thammasat University Women's Dormitory in Sathorn District, Dib Bangkok in Khlong Toei District, Underpass No. 11 in Bang Khen District, Chalerm Khet 1 Road in Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, and the serene Khlong Bang Khun Thian in Chom Thong District. Each location adds its own unique backdrop to the music video, highlighting the city's rich cultural and urban landscapes.
The filming of the music video took place in late July, showcasing the collaborative efforts of Thai talent in creating a production of international standards. Despite Lisa's Thai roots, the music video is classified as a foreign production due to its copyright being owned by an overseas company. Consequently, the production team was required to secure filming permissions from the Department of Tourism prior to filming.
