LG Q2 net income down 30.7 pct to 290.4 bln won

LG Corp. on Thursday reported its second-quarter net income of 290.4 billion won (US$211 million), down 30.7 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 309.4 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 454.7 billion won a year ago. Revenue fell 4 percent to 1.82 trillion won.
