Lawyer Kaew’s Emotional Admission Over Allegations Involving 18-Year-Old Woman

Bangkok: Dr. Montchai Jongkairattanakul, known as "Lawyer Kaew," recently addressed the media to clarify allegations of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman. He publicly apologized to his family, the woman's family, close friends, and supporters, expressing deep regret over the incident.

According to Thai News Agency, Lawyer Kaew sought to present his perspective on the events, specifically referencing December 26, 2025, when Mr. Kanchai Kamnerdploy informed him about the allegations through "Benz Apache." The accusations suggested that on September 12, 2025, an incident of sexual harassment occurred in a car while traveling from a shopping mall to a restaurant.

Lawyer Kaew denied committing the alleged abuse, stating he was shocked by the accusations. He admitted to being in the car with the woman and engaging in a conversation. At the restaurant, they dined, took photos, and shared light-hearted moments together. He emphasized that if the alleged abuse had taken place, the woman would not have accompanied him to the restaurant or engaged in these activities.

However, Lawyer Kaew confessed to hugging, kissing, and caressing the woman once they returned to the car. He expressed remorse, describing the act as a moment of irrationality and disappointment in himself. He apologized sincerely for his actions.

Attorney Kaew also addressed chat messages from September 8, 2025, which he claimed indicated a friendly relationship. He insisted that no messages were deleted. Despite the incident, conversations continued between them, and he expressed sincerity by apologizing through messages.

In a turn of events, discussions about financial settlements emerged. Lawyer Kaew claimed that through an intermediary, the woman's father indicated that without 10 million baht, further discussions were pointless. He mentioned offering 2.5 million baht to resolve the matter.

The situation escalated when the woman's father posted pictures of her on social media, leading to her feeling terrified and pressured. Lawyer Kaew questioned why the matter was not reported to the police initially, emphasizing that he would have taken action if he had known.

Throughout this ordeal, Lawyer Kaew maintained silence on social media, fearing misrepresentation of the information. He stated his readiness to face legal proceedings if the other party chose to pursue them, expressing his willingness to accept and fight according to the law.
