In the year 2020, the Group has installed solar cells on the roof (Solar Rooftop) with an investment value of 170 million baht at the Bang Pa-In plant. and the Lopburi factory It has a capacity of 5 MW and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 4,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year.
In the year 2021, the Group Company has installed additional solar cells on the roof (Solar Rooftop) and solar farm (Solar High Rise Mounting) within the rain collecting pond area of Bang Pa-In factory. With an investment value of 273 million baht, it has a capacity of 11.5 megawatts and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 9,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalents per year.
Implementation of the said solar power generation system installation project This is part of the response to the Group’s environmental policy. This will be used as a prototype for installation and development in other factories around the world.
