The Executive Development Programme is an important component in developing the expertise of Armed Forces and public officers. According to the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, efforts will continue to be taken to improve the programme by aligning its objectives with Wawasan Brunei 2035.
Speaking at the official launch of the 13th Executive Development Programme For Senior Government Officers yesterday, Datin Paduka Hajah Suriyah binti Haji Umar expressed the hope that the participants would act as agents who were capable of enhancing planning and the organisation's capabilities effectively in order to fulfil the demands of increasing challenges.
The 3-month long programme is attended by 30 senior officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, the Royal Brunei Police Force, Senior Armed Forces Officers from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam as well as Ministry of Defence Officers.
