The Fine Arts Department has adjusted the landscape of the ceremonial area of the royal cremation for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and carried out the construction of a base for Lord Vishnu on Garuda which has progressed by more than 80 percent.
According to the National News Bureau of Thailand, Mr Phorntham Thamwimol, the Landscape Architect of the Office of Architecture, Department of Fine Arts, disclosed that the Department of Fine Arts had begun the process of adjusting the landscape around the royal crematorium for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The department has also adjusted the ground level and constructed pools at the four corners of the royal crematorium. The pool floor is decorated with polished blue-green gravels.
Mr Manop Amornwutthiroj, the Senior Artistic Officer, Sculpture Division, the Office of Ten Divisions of Traditional Thai Crafts, said that the Office of Ten Divisions of Traditional Thai Crafts has constructed the bases of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and Indra. The construction of the Garuda base of Naraya god has now progressed by more than 80 percent.
The Office of Ten Divisions of Traditional Thai Crafts is also creating various kinds of Thai fruit expressing abundance in the reign of the late monarch.
