Labour Minister Reports Cabinet’s Approval to Improve Processes in Reviewing Rights to “Section 33 We Love Each Other” Project

Labour Minister MR. Suchart Chomklin reported that the Cabinet’s meeting on March 9, 2021, approved improvements to the process of submitting rights reviews of the “Section 33 We Love Each Other” project from March 15 to 28, 2021.

On March 10, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin revealed that the Cabinet’s meeting yesterday, on March 9, 2021, approved to revise the rules and procedures for submitting rights reviews for the “Section 33 We Love Each Other” project, as proposed by the Social Security Office. For the process of submitting a right review from March 15 to 28, 2021, applicants can submit a request for a rights review through the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website time 06.00 to 23.00 hours. Different groups of insured persons can submit a request to review the rights as follows: Group 1, insured persons who did not register on February 21 to March 7, 2021. Group 2, those registered through the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website but were denied being insured persons under Section 33 of the social security system as of January 19, 1951, or February 15, 2021. Group 3, people who have been rejected for not qualifying for the “Section 33 We Love Each Other” project. Group 4, insured persons who have registered, but the information does not match the Central Registration Office, Department of Provincial Administration, or Ministry of Interior, such as their title, name, surname, or birth date. Then, from March 29 to April 4, 2021, the authorities will examine the information and screen for eligible candidates. Insured persons can check the review results on the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website from April 5 to 11, 2021. Rightful persons will have to press to confirm their identity through the “Pao Tang” application from April 5 to May 31, 2021. They will receive the accumulated credit line through the wallet application of 4,000 Baht on April 12, 2021, or on the date that their rights are confirmed.

Mr. Suchart said that insured persons who do not have a smartphone must bring their ID card (smart card) to the Social Security Office staff in Bangkok or branches in provinces nationwide on March 15 to 28, 2021, to register from 8.00 – 17.00 hours. The process will take place from March 29 to April 4. The officer will check if the insured persons have deposits of over 500,000 Baht and ensure they are not a holder of a state welfare card or using their right for the “We Win” project. There will be a notification of the results of the investigation on April 5 to 11, 2021, through the following four channels:

1. SMS to the referenced phone number.

2. Telephone call to the referenced phone number.

3. Telephone call to notify the establishment of the insured person.

4. A Line message to notify the establishment of the insured person.

The insured person who is entitled to receive a credit limit of 4,000 Baht can spend the money using their ID card like the “We Win” project from April 12 to May 31, 2021. Insured persons can spend the amount on products and services no later than May 31, 2021.
