Koravee Dispels Rumors of Backup Prime Minister in Bhumjaithai Party

Bangkok: Putting an end to speculations surrounding a “backup” prime minister candidate, MP Koravee Prisnanantakul has confirmed that the Bhumjaithai Party only considers Anutin Charnvirakul and Senator Sihasak as its core members. Koravee emphasized that there is no intention to nominate any outsider for the position.

According to Thai News Agency, Koravee Prisnanantakul, who serves as the MP for Ang Thong and chairman of the government’s coalition coordination committee, addressed rumors regarding a potential “reserve” Prime Minister. These rumors suggested that a candidate from a blue-colored party, abbreviated as “S,” was poised to step in should any political issues arise. Koravee took to his personal Facebook page to clarify that the party does not have anyone abbreviated as “S,” but only Anutin. He highlighted that individuals are attempting to spread false names and abbreviations to incite political unrest, and he aimed to clarify the situation by presenting facts from the party’s MPs and whips.
