According to Thai News Agency, the woman seemed mentally unstable and was without any identification documents. She was shouting and causing panic among tourists, prompting authorities to exercise caution in handling the situation. Rescue workers and medical personnel were contacted to transport her for psychiatric treatment.
Investigations revealed that the woman was incoherent and had no identification on her, but she was identified as a resident of Mae Yao Subdistrict in the Mueang Chiang Rai District. Authorities coordinated with rescue teams and medical personnel to ensure she received psychiatric care and contacted her relatives to pick her up. No injuries were reported during the incident, and security measures at the airport remain stringent.
