Bangkok: Janesuda Panto, a member of the "Angel Gang" who was defrauded of 40 million baht by Nana Raibeena, has sparked controversy with a social media post criticizing the use of children in online content to gain sympathy. Her comments came after Nana was temporarily released on bail of 1 million baht. Upon returning home, Nana's younger sister shared a video of Nana's emotional reunion with her children, which was interpreted by many as being referenced in Janesuda's post.
According to Thai News Agency, Janesuda expressed her disapproval on her Instagram story, questioning the appropriateness of involving children in adult matters to solicit public sympathy. Her post emphasized the emotional toll on the victims' families, who have experienced similar hardships without resorting to social media displays. Janesuda's message resonated with other victims, including Janie Tienphosuwan and Khaophot Smittinun, both of whom shared the post on their Instagram stories, underscoring their shared sentiments about maintaining privacy in their personal suffering.
